About the company

Since 1985, Trans-Quip Inc., located in St. Catharines Ontario, has been the source for power transmission products in the Canadian marketplace. As Canadian Distributor for Joyce/Dayton and IBC Bellows and Covers, we’ve built strong partnerships with companies across the country.

In 2006, we became the Canadian Master Distributor for Southworth Products, providing companies with PalletPal ergonomic palletizing equipment, lift tables, container tilters and dandy lifts.

In 2016, we are very excited and proud to present THREE new Product lines: Schmalz Ergonomic Vacuumatic Lifters, Lift’n Buddy Ergonomic Mobile Lifters and SWS Canada Safety Warning Lights. Our intention is to make Canada a safer place.

  • Joyce/Dayton Corp.

    Established in 1873, Joyce/Dayton Corp. is a privately-held manufacturer of linear actuation products. The company has over 125 years of history in jack design and patents. In fact, its founder J.O. Joyce holds almost as many patents as Thomas Edison.

    Trans-Quip Inc. works closely with the Joyce/Dayton team to ensure we meet your specifications, provide competitive pricing and rapid delivery.


  • IBC Bellows

    Located in Clayton, Ohio, Int’l Bellows and Covers Inc. is a subsidiary of the Joyce/Dayton Corporation, providing standard and custom manufactured protective sewn bellows boots and covers for Trans-Quip customers.


  • Southworth Products Corp

    For over 120 years, Southworth has been designing and building products that increase worker and machine productivity. They have produced more lifting, positioning and transporting equipment than any other company in the world.

    Trans-Quip Inc. and Southworth Products have teamed up to help Canadian companies implement ergonomic material handling equipment into their day to day operations, to improve productivity while reducing worker injury.


  • Lift'n Buddy

    Lift’n Buddy was established in 2011 in Fargo, North Dakota. The company became part of a North Dakota State University “incubator” program known as InnovateND. It was in this business nurturing environment that the idea for a better lifting and transporting device became a reality. Product designs were finalized, prototypes developed and finally production units began rolling out of the manufacturing facility.

    At Safety Warning Specialists, we design, engineer and manufacture high quality optical & audio warning devices for municipal Public Works, Utilities and fleet vehicles. We source the newest and most innovative technology so we can provide the best quality amber lighting and related products in the industry.
